Here's another acrylic painting (I'm getting to really like these!). This is based on an old photo of me from many years ago. Enjoyed this one, and I'm definitely going to do more acrylics.
Thanks Nora! There aren't too many photos of me when I was little, and this was the nicest pose I could find (I'm grinning like an idiot in most of the others...)
I enjoyed your blog. You have a very nice touch with acrylics and I hope to experiment soon with them as well. Watercolor and sketching I am focusing on right now (which I can see you enjoy as well). Again, nice work.
...and welcome to Sharon's Pics! Painting, drawing and printmaking inspired by the natural world is my thing - I love the challenge and it's great to see the subjects coming to life on the paper or canvas. I never get bored of it.
I also have another blog, Cambridgeshire nature notes, where you'll find drawings, sketches, studies, photos and general rambling on about the natural world as I find it...

Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteSharon I really like this pose. Wonderful job on the hair.
